Colesberg to New Bethesda info sheet.
The programme are as follows:
Day 1
We start in Colesberg at 14h00 the first day and cycle 60 km to the first guest farm where
we have a hippo drive and dinner.(Leave your car in Colesberg-save)
Day 2
The next morning we have coffee and rusks before we leave and break on 40 km for a brunch ,
then we do 60 km to the next break for a cold drink/beer and take the last 20 km to where we sleep
the second night on a guest Farm as well. (120km for the day) we break the last 20km in two with
another drink / beer.
Day 3
The third day we take a breakfast where we spend the previous night and cycle 45km to Nieu
Bethesda, here we have a bottomless home made cheese, bread and game salami platter.
(Home brewed Karoo beer at R15 a draft)
We deliver your luggage to the next night’s accommodation. No back up.
Our bus returns you to Colesberg.
All this included at R1400 pp.
If you bring your own backup car and deliver the luggage you cut the cost by R200 pp.
If we do not return you to Colesberg you cut cost by R100.
The quote is for groups of 10 people.
The reason you start at 14h00 is so you can leave 7hoo in JHB or Cape Town you can start the
same day. The same with the return trip so you can do it only 3 days and 2 nights.
If the group have time and funds they can spend the night before and night after in Colesberg –
If I arrange it I can get the 2 nights at a good rate of R200 pp per night.
